6 Unique List Ideas for Planners & Bullet Journals

When considering my hobbies, I kept coming back to the fact that I simply love to make lists. I make lists for anything and everything. It’s the easiest way for my brain to understand everything that I have to – and want to – do.

Every morning when I sit down for work, I make a to do list of what I need to get done that day. Most Sundays, I’ll make a list of what needs to be done for the week. I also have monthly to do lists of big picture stuff.

Then, I have more “fun” lists – goals, movies to watch, books to read, concerts to see. These are the things I enjoy not only checking off the list, but enjoy the experience, too.

But, one of the best things about lists, is that they allow you to be creative while being organized. Here are some of my favorite designs from over the years from a bullet journal I have. These have evolved in my planner over time, and I hope they inspire you to give a little umph to your lists!

This is one of my favorites. A list of horror movies I wanted to see, set in a cemetery scenery. Each film title gets put on a grave stone, and then colored in when watched. Morbid, but kinda clever, no?
This is a brief portion of my vinyl wishlist – turntable sticker and all.
While checking things off of this list is on pause for the foreseeable future, it can’t hurt to have on hand. The bubbly shapes of the names are inspired by dream “clouds”.
Much like the bookmark you can find on the SHOP page, this is a book list filled with mini book covers and titles. Once read, the books are colored in.
One of the best list topics of all time. Self-explanatory.
Another movie list, in a more minimal setting. Little movie-themed headers with alternating pen colors make for a little pop.
