The changing fall weather urges us to stay warm and cozy indoors, making it the perfect time of year for arts and crafts. The next day you’d rather stay inside, learn how to make your own cork board out of re-purposed wine corks.
What You’ll Need:
- 20 wine corks
- 5 x 7 frame or chalkboard
- Hot glue gun
- Thumbtacks/photos
Step One: Remove glass from the picture frame, only keeping the backing intact.
Step Two: Place a strip of hot glue onto a wine cork and place it onto the frame backing (make sure the frame is surrounding the backing.) Use your imagination to create a design of wine corks.
Step Three: Continue gluing wine corks onto the frame backing until the full backing is covered.
Step Four: Allow one hour for the glue to dry, then use thumbtacks to decorate the cork board with photos, mementos, etc.
